Announcements:

  • Last class you were given a Close Reader workbook. If absent you’ll need to get one from the teacher. On the inside cover students should write: 1)their first name/name they go by in class 2) last name 3) class period and 4) teacher’s name.
  • Close Readers need to be brought to class daily.
  • Make-Up Monday started this week and goes from 3:00 – 4:45 p.m. in our regular classroom. Please be reminded, students don’t have to stay the entire time, so if they need to use the computer for 45 minutes or so, or need 30 minutes to finish an assignment/make-up an assignment following an absence this is an ideal window to accomplish those tasks. Parents need simply to drop by the main office to pick up their students. Please arrive no later than 4:45 p.m.
  • Extra credit opportunity for freezing the image on the screen has ended. Thank you for your participation.

Assignments:

    • Small groups of students worked on the same text as above on their own, checking in with the teacher as needed.

Home Learning:

  • Bring Collections textbook (black cover) to class until told otherwise.
  • Close Readers need to be brought to class daily.
  • Weekly Choice A3Ks articles due Sunday, regardless of A or B day. For more info, please reference the Achieve 3000 vs. A3K page. Remember this is a regular home learning grade.
